While talk of health disparities and diversity, equity and inclusion have come to the forefront of healthcare discussion in the last few years, at CarePlus NJ we have consistently strived to achieve health equity for the community members we serve. We aim to recognize and embrace the difference that each individual brings with their unique circumstance and struggle while providing comprehensive treatment that addresses the many factors that contribute to risk and illness, as well as wellness and recovery.

Throughout our 45-year tenure as a community mental health center, CarePlus NJ has demonstrated the ability to address the mental health challenges, addiction and psychiatric crises experienced by our community members. Concurrently, we assess and address the related circumstances that contribute to the development, or perpetuation of mental illness. CarePlus NJ proudly served 14,000 individuals in the last year, each facing their own obstacles, but dedicated to overcoming them.

With your support, CarePlus Foundation provided $175,000 in life-saving financial assistance to minimize risk and improve and save the lives of 115 folks who are struggling.
